FIRST POST 2011!

HOLIDAYS!

Boohehe (happy cry) we are at the airport and just saw my American family walk through the door we jump into the car and drive away lots of chats and hugs on the way. We arrive at home take them to their house and sleep. we go and see loads of awesome things and do cool stuff like Gravity canyon and the beach at Pauanui really sad when they leave sad for a couple of days…

PARACHUTE!!!

Just before school starts again we had parachute it isreally awesome I watched loads of awesome bands including AVALANCHE CITY, STAN WALKER, THE LADS and lots more me my sister Ella and my friends Abbey and Alana were staying in the pop-top campa we had and my mum dad and brother and other sister were staying in our big one. I got a couple of autographs from some people who were really good singers. the scaryest band was “Brian head Welch” they were really freaky and looked like Zombies (what I would think they looked like anyway…) and were really heavy-metal it was awful but we had lots of fun hanging out and doing rides. We did the super loop 3 times it was that fun. On the first time I was so scared that I screamed the whole time uncontrollably and cried when it was over then tried it again 2 days later and laughed the whole time then did it in the dark again on the the same night!

At camp I did lots of cool things and some of them were

SKYTOWER

We went up the Skytower and we stood and sat on the glass overhanging the tower and we took lots of pictures. We were really lucky that we got to go into the refuge (no other school had ever been there before). It was scary because it felt like I was trapped in a can that was on Mount Everest. It was buffeted about in the wind and it sounded like outside there was a howling ghost and it was soooo cool yet freaky!

SKATING

We went into a awesome skating rink where we all rented skates and started skating when suddenly the lights dimmed and disco lights and music came on! I thought that was awesome.I taught Logan how to skate. Then I went off to see what everyone else was doing and saw the boys doing some awesome moves there was this one time when Max and Jonny lay on the floor and the other boys skated over them! it looked scary! so us girls tried to do some moves but at the end we all had to admit the boys were the best skaters! They were really nice and let us try doing one of their tricks!

BORDERS

One night while the boys were out playing at an arcade us girls went to an awesome book store called Borders. Our cool teachers took us there and we all had loads of fun looking at all the books it was an amazing experience to just walk into a shop and see loads and loads and loads of books we even saw a funny bookmark it was a 3D one you turned it and an elephant rubbed its butt against a tree! It was awesome  I loved it!
